You have my promise that I will not just list your house, I will do my best to get it sold for you. About Me I was born in San Jose, California and am the oldest of three children. I joined the Air Force at the age of seventeen and enjoyed every minute I spent serving my country. While deployed to Saudi Arabia during the Persian Gulf War I met my wife Paula. Since I enjoy working with people, a career in Real Estate was a good choice for me. I am a full time REALTOR and always available and responsive to my clients. Military Service I retired after almost 27 years in the Air Force. My last assignment was at Langley AFB where I was a member of the 71st Fighter Squadron. During my career I made 7 household moves and I know what an enormous undertaking relocating into an area you are unfamiliar with can be. It is important to know you have someone you can trust to work with. My FamilyI have lived in the Yorktown area since 1995 along with my wife and 2 daughters. My wife Paula separated from the Air Force after the birth of our first daughter and has been working for the York County School Division since 1998. Taylor, my oldest daughter is in the fourth grade and Kylie my youngest daughter is in kindergarten. Interests & Activities My wife and I are both strong supporters of the Cancer Relay for Life and the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. CHKD saved our youngest daughter's life after she was born and has continued to provide her with excellent care as she grows. I also participate in the Peninsula Adult Soccer League and enjoy running and fishing. My Real Estate Training I attended the Alpha College of Real Estate and then proceeded to get my Real Estate license. I also attended three months of training at Greg Garrett University after I started working for greg garrett realty.com. Additionally, I regularly attend workshops and sessions to enhance my skills as a real estate professional. As an Accredited Buyers Representative I am dedicated to representing my buyer's best interests. As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist my goal is to provide the best service to Seniors while helping them make the decision that is in their best interest. I am a member of the Virginia Peninsula Association of Realtors and I belong to the Williamsburg Area Association of Realtors Multiple Listing Service and the Hampton Roads Multiple Listing Service. I am also a member of the Cheasapeake Bay and Rivers Association of Realtors and I subscribe to the CBRAR Multiple Listing Service. I have been an award winner every year since 2003 for the VPAR Outstanding Salesmanship Club based upon my property sales. As your representative, I will perform the following services for you: evaluate the selling prices of similar homes in your area and recommend an appropriate selling price for your home based upon a comparative market analysis, advise you on how to make your home more attractive to prospective buyers, help negotiate a contract and represent your best interests to the prospective purchaser, protect your rights and discuss each offer presented on your home with you, cover the advantages or disadvantages that may be contained in those offers to help you make the best decision possible when deciding whether or not to accept an offer, follow the entire settlement process, and I will keep you informed on how things are progressing on the sale of your home. What I have to offer homebuyers I have access to all three of the areas multiple listing services to provide you with the greatest access to homes currently on the market. You can fill out the form using my website and I can create a customized property wizards that will automatically send you emails about types of homes you are interested in as they come out on the market in the area. I will spend as much time as is necessary to make sure you are satisfied and have found the home you desire. As your representative, I will perform the following services for you: help you find a good mortgage loan officer to pre-qualify you and discuss various financing alternatives available so you can make the best financial choices, assist you in determining the market value of a property and suggest strategies that will enhance your negotiating position, prepare the purchase offer and present it in the most favorable light possible, recommend other service providers that may be required in your closing such as professional inspection companies, monitor all pre-settlement activities to ensure your interests continue to be protected upon acceptance of a purchase offer by the seller, maintain regular contact with you throughout the real estate purchase process, and I will at all times maintain your confidentiality and represent your best interests.
